Startup from University

Universities have developed into start-up springboards. The number of start-up and entrepreneurship professorships shows that the topic of entrepreneurship is being taken up in research, teaching and transfer at more and more universities. In the meantime, the Förderkreis Gründungs-Forschung e.V. has identified more than 150, six of them in Berlin alone.

Berlin Startup Scholarship
The Berlin Startup Scholarship supports innovative start-ups in the context of
"Founder Workshops" and similar formats. Funding is provided, for example, for the acquisition of skills in the use of modern information and communication technologies or digitalization, climate protection, energy efficiency and the use of renewable energies.

The funding program "EXIST – Existenzgründungen aus der Wissenschaft" of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy supports students, graduates and scientists in the preparation of innovative technology-oriented and knowledge-based start-up projects.
